Before I open a ticket, I wanted to see if anyone else has tried to stage this configuration and has gotten the same result.
Tried upgrading 9.2.0.2 and DWA 1.2 to this version. Got an error trying to navigate into a folder that contains a module.
Uninstalled everything, deleted database, 9.2 folders and DWA 1.2 folders.
Installed fresh. created a little folder hierarchy and a test module using the desktop client.
Run DWA, and as soon as I navigate into a directory that contains a module, the system hangs with this error dialog. It's the exact same error I got when upgrading. I know these builds are only a few days old, so maybe I'm on to something (that I don't want to be on to).
Anyone?

for what its worth... we just had a successful Fresh NEW DOORS v9.2.0.0 server install with a NEW DWA 1.4.0.2.
not sure if it provides any alternative in your case???
The only error I heard from the IT dude was barking back at him for a correct ID number obtained using DXL to feed to DWA install...

Thanks for the input. One thing I noticed is that DWA 1.4 states a platform requirement of Windows Server 2003 or 2008. Although I have successfully staged it on a XP Pro machine in past versions, maybe this is my issue. I am going to try on a fresh Windows 2003 Server machine hopefully today as a sanity check.

Well, just did a fresh install on a fresh server2008 machine, and I get the same error message.
Time to open a ticket. Rats.
I'll try going back to 9.2.0.5 server to see if that changes anything.

We have exactly the same problem. I tried to download the fixpack DWA 1.4.0.3 from IBM but I couldn't get it (Fix Central Timeout). We run 9.3.0.3 server with 9.3.0.3 client and 1.4.0.2 DWA on a virtual Windows server 2008 SP2. With the client version 9.3.0.0 and 9.2.0.5 we had some other errors but could see the different views of the modules, but couldn't open them.

Did a 9.3.0 install of everything on a fresh Windows 2008 server, and then upgraded to 9.3.0.3 That seemed to work fine, so I tried again on another machine today, and I'm gettitng that problem. ugh.

When I downloaded fix packs I got 1.4.0.3, the "oops" release. That one works just fine.
Dump 1.4.0.2 DWA
